Custom Bioprocess Totes and Trolleys

Configured, modified or engineered from a clean sheet, around your bag system, SOP and facility.

When the Standard Range Does Not Fit

Most biopharma facilities do not run on a standard catalogue. Bag formats, port configurations, tube routes, SOPs and cleanroom footprints are specific to the site, and a carrier that fits the bag but not the doorway is no use on the floor. The BagBox range covers cleanroom totes and transport totes from 50L to 1500L, bioprocess trolleys from 50L to 500L, and drum totes from 50L to 250L. Where one of those fits your process as it stands, we specify it. Where it does not, we modify it or engineer the unit that does, in three defined tiers.

    Configured Standard

    Site-Specific Options

Take a catalogue unit and configure it to your facility: working height, castor specification, port positions, Smart Door configuration, drainage, colour and branding. Light engineering review, short lead time, standard production cycle.

    Targeted Modifications

Modify an existing tote, drum or trolley around a specific bag system, SOP or facility constraint. Dimensional changes, structural reinforcement, additional access points and custom drainage, with an approval-ready drawing before fabrication.

    Fully Bespoke Build

    Clean-Sheet Engineering

Engineered from scratch to your brief, with design consultation, CAD, prototype, documentation and serialised identification. Built around your bag specification, tube routing, operator ergonomics and cleanroom geometry, for a unit no competitor can replicate.

Almost every dimension of a BagBox carrier is open to change. Internal geometry is matched to your 3D bag volume so folds, creases and interstitial holdup do not form. Port positions, drainage points and tube channels are set to your SOP, holding connections in fixed-point strain relief through fill and drain. Smart Door position, working height, castors, brakes, reinforcement and stacking behaviour are all specified against your suites, corridors and operators.

Fit is engineered to the bag you use, not to a preferred supplier. BagBox carriers are dimensioned around 3D bag formats from Sartorius, Cytiva, Merck and others, and a custom unit continues to fit if you change bag vendor later, so your validated handling procedures stay as they are. The same applies to hardware already on your floor: where you run existing trolleys, dollies or lifting equipment, our engineers assess the interface and design the carrier to work with it rather than replace it. Materials across the range are ADCF and USP Class VI compliant, gamma irradiation compatible, and specified for the cleaning agents used in routine GMP procedures.

Once a design is approved it is documented and repeatable, so the same unit can be built again for another suite or another site without re-engineering. See how a bespoke project runs on the Custom Engineering page.
