BagBox has announced the expansion of its production facilities to meet growing demand
Bagbox, a pioneering designer of bio-pharma plastic storage and processing equipment, is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its production facilities in Burton on Trent, reflecting our commitment to meeting the increasing demand in the industry.
In the current fiscal year, Bagbox has made strategic investments in cutting-edge CNC production and welding machinery. The newly expanded production facility is a pivotal step in facilitating sustained and responsible growth, enabling us to efficiently support emerging partnerships and contracts through 2024.
This expansion project focuses on a comprehensive investment and refit of production facilities, targeting areas such as goods inward, stores, and goods outward. This strategic reallocation of space within our production facilities is geared towards accommodating the escalating demand for bioprocess plastic totes and fluid management solutions. Notably, we have observed a substantial surge in demand for both standard totes, suitable for cleanroom and transportation purposes, and specialized, all-plastic tote trolleys and carts, along with cleanroom equipment.
The decision to expand comes with a keen awareness of the efficiency benefits and a commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. The additional 40% of space in our production facilities, coupled with a lower carbon footprint per unit, underscores our dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Director John Wright commented, “There is much more to come from Bagbox in the coming months, representing the culmination of a year-long effort. We encourage you to stay tuned for further developments and announcements regarding Bagbox's innovative products and initiatives.”
